由柏林自由大学和柏林洪堡大学联合组建的科研精英集群TOPOI （古代文明中空间与知识的形成和转型）是历史研究领域重要的研究机构之一。在2018年4月开始的夏季学期里，该机构开设了一个新的系列讲座，题目是“战争与暴力——从古代到现代”。课程安排请参看网页：https://www.topoi.org/event/45457/。
